The Knowledge Engineering Group investigates on the construction of knowledge-based systems, with a special emphasis on practical applications. An aspect we have payed attention to is the verification and validation of knowledge-based systems, with the aim of ensuring their quality. Another issue we are interested in is the development of knowledge-based systems from reusable components (e.g. problem-solving methods and ontologies).
